Improvements

Version 6.7.1 includes several improvements to our platform, including but not limited to the listed below.

Non-IBAN account support

Ordering party cash accounts can now be created with non-IBAN account numbers, in addition to IBAN accounts. This applies across every creation method: manual creation in the user interface, bulk upload, and the external API, and non-IBAN accounts can be edited afterwards the same way as IBAN accounts. This extends not only to payment initiation but also to payment reconciliation. This lets clients who settle through non-IBAN correspondent accounts use FinologeeBKO without manual workarounds.

Payment update via re-upload

Payments in draft, cancelled, rejected by user, or rejected by the Depositary can now be updated by re-uploading a file with the same reference, through FinologeeBKODrive or bulk upload using pain.001, Excel, or CSV files. Previously, re-uploading such a payment failed because the platform treated it as a duplicate.

This is particularly useful for clients who manage payments through system integration rather than the user interface, letting them correct and resubmit a payment without switching to manual editing. The updated payment follows the same status transition and audit trail as an edit made directly in the interface.

Support for gold, silver, platinum and palladium accounts

FinologeeBKO now supports four additional currencies for cash accounts: gold (XAU), silver (XAG), platinum (XPT) and palladium (XPD), each denominated in troy ounces. Accounts in these currencies can be created the same way as accounts in any other supported currency, and appear consistently across account lists, statements, and the dashboard.

Note that the availability of this type of accounts will depend on their availability for reporting on the bank's side

This extends FinologeeBKO's multi-currency capabilities to clients holding or settling positions in precious metals, letting them manage these balances directly on the platform instead of relying on a workaround outside it.
